What a busy and wonderful summer it’s been at the ELC! Between our campus upgrades and nearly 450 weekly campers, plus all our visiting groups and daily guests, we’ve had our hands full.
Our dedicated and passionate team has done an amazing job keeping kids engaged in good old-fashioned outdoor fun: swimming, swinging, canoeing, boating, running, observing, learning, laughing, digging, splashing, sweating, making friends, creating art, trying archery, and exploring nature. There are lifelong memories and aspirations being made here, and we love it!
I’m currently enjoying an end-of-summer family getaway – pictured below in the stunning Dolomites of the Italian Alps. The beauty of this planet never fails to amaze me. What gives me hope is seeing more and more people working to protect it, so future generations can experience it too. Spending time in nature is good for us – physically, mentally, and emotionally. It connects us.
Our campus and outdoor excursion offerings, plus volunteer and wellness programs, are here 7 days a week, ready to help you connect, right here at home. See you soon at your ELC!
In Gratitude and Service,
Barb
