Learn about the natural history, adaptations and conservation threats of the Atlantic bottle-nose dolphins and learn to be an active dolphin steward! Hold a real dolphin skull and learn about their animal intelligence! Or hear about bobcats which along with the panther, the wild bobcat is one of two predatory big cats native to the Florida region. Bobcats are found throughout the state from the deepest swamps to suburban backyards and many of them are right here in Indian River County! Or maybe the Critter Fun Facts will be all about gopher tortoises! This amazing reptile can dig a burrow up to 60 feet long and host over 400 different species of animals at various times! It is known as a keystone species of upland habitats. Find out what you can do to be an active gopher tortoise steward.
