The health and safety of our community have been and will continue to be ELC’s primary focus. Our outdoor and indoor facilities on campus are open.
We are collecting admission fees at our Entry Pavilion or online. You can book your entry online here or text ADMIT to 772-238-5424 for the admission button link.

The ELC is your destination on the Treasure Coast of Florida for outdoor learning and fun! Come explore the Indian River Lagoon and our island campus featuring interactive exhibits, walking trails, and water sports in Vero Beach.

Discovery Station & Touch Tank
Our interpretative center with interactive exhibits, aquariums and a touch tank! Learn more about who lives in the Indian River Lagoon and how you can help keep our planet clean and green.
Take a pontoon boat ride along the Indian River Lagoon to Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge or enjoy a guided kayak trip through our mangrove forest! The ELC offers a wide variety of water sports and activities for all levels and interests.
Our 64 acre campus offers walking trails and interactive exhibits to keep the whole family engaged. Become a scientist on our citizen scientist walk or learn more about the mangroves on our Discovery trail. Let the kids free play at our Imagination Station and Nature Playscape.
All-terrain wheelchairs are perfect for getting around campus. Please bring someone to push, or call (772) 589-5050 if you need assistance.
Look for cool creatures and plants as you roam! Find the Biocubes and note what you see inside.

Wellness in Nature
Enjoy your favorite wellness program or try a new one in the beautiful nature and peacefulness of the ELC. We offer weekly classes and private group bookings for certain programs.
Each season we feature new artists from a variety of backgrounds and art mediums in our Tidal Gallery and Lagoon & Wetland Room venue. Viewing the artwork is free with admission and a wonderful addition to your trip to the ELC.
