Our interpretative center with interactive exhibits, aquariums and a touch tank!  Learn more about who lives in the Indian River Lagoon and how you can help keep our planet clean and green.  

Water Activities

Take a pontoon boat ride along the Indian River Lagoon to Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge or enjoy a guided kayak trip through our mangrove forest!  The ELC offers a wide variety of water sports and activities for all levels and interests.

Our 64 acre campus offers walking trails and interactive exhibits to keep the whole family engaged.  Become a scientist on our citizen scientist walk or learn more about the mangroves on our Discovery trail.  Let the kids free play at our Imagination Station and Nature Playscape.

Yoga is essentially a spiritual discipline based on an extremely subtle Science which focuses on bringing harmony between mind and body. 

Artist Series

Each season we feature new artists from a variety of backgrounds and art mediums in our Tidal Gallery and Lagoon & Wetland Room venue.  Viewing the artwork is free with admission and a wonderful addition to your trip to the ELC.
