About Mangroves & Moonlight

Spend a lovely evening under the stars at ELC’s Mangroves and Moonlight annual benefit, to be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Mangroves and Moonlight will take place throughout the ELC’s scenic 64-acre venue along the beautiful Indian River Lagoon. Guests can sip on delicious cocktails and enjoy a savory, buffet-style meal. The evening also includes a live auction with exciting and unique items.

Maggie Bowman Scholarship Fund

The Maggie Bowman Scholarship Fund must be replenished to guarantee that the ELC can continue to connect a diversity of local children with our natural world. Please donate below to help carry out ELC's mission to educate, inspire and empower all people to be active stewards of the environment and their own well-being.

Four Course Meal for 10-12 People by Wild Thyme Catering

Enjoy a delicious four course meal for 10-12 people prepared by Wild Thyme Catering. Wild Thyme Catering is dedicated to using only the freshest ingredients and creating incredible food. The winning bidder will receive an appetizer of choice, salad and bread, two protein entrees of choice along with a starch and vegetable and dessert. Beer and wine as well as non-alcoholic drinks will be provided.

Chimp Bonanza Bundle

The winning bidder will receive a one-of-a-kind piece of art painted by chimps Ricky, Jr, Cartier and Yvette! The bidder will also receive a private tour for four of the Save the Chimps sanctuary, the world's largest privately funded chimpanzee sanctuary, along with chimp gear (shirts, hats and sweaters).

Immerse yourself in nature by taking a tour with some of your closest friends on a See Through Canoe excursion! 

Private Pontoon Tour

Private Pontoon Tour

Climb aboard our pontoon boat with 15 of your friends on a private pontoon excursion! Explore the Indian River Lagoon in style. Take a two hour tour of Pelican Island or the Sebastian River and spot manatees and dolphins along the way. Feast on delicious hor d'oeuvres and enjoy cold beer or wine on your cruise.

Room Rental Party!

Have a party at the ELC! Host a birthday party, family gathering or other special event on our scenic 64-acre campus. Our Guest Services Manager can even help line up some special activities for you and your guests to enjoy, such as canoeing, nature walks, pontoon boat tour and more!

Vero Beach Airplane Adventure

The winning bidder will experience the Vero Beach area with up to three guests. You'll work with your pilot to plan a 1.0 hour flight. Maybe you'll want to do a general tour of the County... you might want to fly up the Coast to view Kennedy Space Center from the air and fly down the runway used to land the Space Shuttle, take pictures of your home or favorite places from the air... or use the time to figure out if you want to become a pilot! You and your guests will be flying in style in a Piper Lance.
