Nature artists wanted
The Environmental Learning Center campus is undergoing some renovations and with that came our new lagoon side area. This area is a peaceful tree covered spot overlooking the Indian River Lagoon and provides a place for our guests to relax and enjoy the view.
There are eight wooden picnic tables in this area that are in need of nature art murals. We are asking for artists in the Vero Beach area to volunteer their time to paint the tables. There is an application process and if we received many applications, we hope to expand the murals to another set of 20 picnic tables that are used for educational classes under our Discovery Station building.
Artist may also be eligible for up to $100 reimbursement for materials and labor upon written request if selected.
Please use the application form to apply. Call 772-589-5050 or email art@discoverelc.org with any questions.
