The Environmental Learning Center (ELC) is gearing up for their signature annual benefit—Mangroves & Moonlight. This event will be held on Saturday, January 11 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and will take place throughout the ELC’s scenic 64-acre campus along the Indian River Lagoon.
Guests will enjoy a memorable and meaningful evening of culinary delights, music, cocktails and unique auction items with fellow friends of nature.
The ladies are heading up this special event. Martha Redner, Executive Director of Quail Valley Charities and Membership Director of Quail Valley, is chair of the event, working with a dedicated team to plan this outstanding night. Bev Shea, Event Coordinator and Membership Director and Kat Redner, Marketing and Communications Coordinator are co-chairs of the event, along with Barbara Schlitt-Ford, the Executive Director of the ELC. This dynamic team is working hard to put on an event like no other in the community.
Some auction items include a four-course meal for 12 people by Wild Thyme Catering, an Airplane Adventure, a 16-person wine and cheese private pontoon boat tour and call-to-heart items such as the Maggie Bowman scholarship fund which supports the ELC’s educational programs.
The ELC is excited to be kicking off their largest fundraising event of the year, with its hard-working and dedicated team.
