One more Lagoon Island Family Adventure of the series set for Saturday, May 13th, 2023!
This playshop series gives families the opportunity to enjoy exploring, playing, and learning together in nature for memories you will cherish for a lifetime!
Designed for families with children 5 to 12 years old (this is a family along program). Younger children with a parent and older children are welcome to join. Activities are oriented for K - 6th grade.
$40 for families of up to 4. $50 for families of 5 or more. Children 4 and under are free with older siblings enrolled. ELC Members get an additional 10% off.

Fun active learning through games, sensory awareness activities, songs, and stories
that create fun and meaningful connections with your family and the lagoon ecology.
Saturday April 8, 2023 10 AM - 12 PM: Family Nature Detectives
Do you want to know what the animals in your neighborhood are up to? You can read the landscape by learning the 5 types of bird language and how to read animal tracks and signs! We will also play stealthy awareness games to prepare for dip netting and careful animal observation!
Saturday May 13, 2023 10 AM - 12 PM: From Survival to Thrival
Increase your families confidence in nature by learning the 10 Essentials for your backpack, hazard awareness, fire starting and safety, basic knots and practice putting up tarp shelters!
Please bring a snack for your family and reusable water bottles.
