Each year ELC organizes its own events to raise awareness and necessary funds. Whether it’s an open house, a high-end fundraiser, or holiday celebration, ELC creates different levels of opportunities for the entire community to be a part of. When we aren’t busy coordinating an event, we are hosting one for the many wonderful organizations that use our facilities and programming.

A wonderful community celebration with thousands of holiday lights, campfires, and the popular Magical Mangrove Encounter, where we take guests by canoes through illuminated mangrove tunnels at night. A truly unique experience.

January 24, 2026 from 10 AM – 6 PM
An exciting new twist to our Nature Fest (fka EcoFest then LagoonFest), now with live bands at our Event Pavilion and in a cooler month! Join us for this free event that features dozens of environmental partners with tons of hands-on activities, food, pontoon or kayak trips, visits to the aquarium and touch tank, dip netting in the pond, plus some of the areas best musical groups performing throughout the day.
