SUMMER CAMPS

Fun, learning, adventure and discovery!

Each summer, the Environmental Learning Center continues to offer our most beloved camp activities while also adding new and exciting elements that will spark your child’s sense of wonder, creativity, and love for our unique ecosystem. We offer immersive experiences for children entering kindergarten through 8th grade that are hands-on, feet-wet, and encourage outdoor exploration using different scientific tools on the ELC’s campus. The ELC’s action-packed camps are a perfect way to keep your child’s body, mind, and spirit active during the summer months while making new lifelong friends.

Our accomplished and dynamic environmental educators have created different activities that include everything from unique nature-themed scavenger hunts and crafts, pond dip-netting, mangrove forest exploration, touch tank encounters, and interactive story time to canoeing, pontoon boat trips to explore uninhabited lagoon islands, snorkeling, and even state of the art environmental exploration activities that utilize different technologies. The Environmental Learning Center’s summer day camp programs have something for everyone!

For responsible high school students who enjoy nature and working with children, the ELC also offers exciting camp counselor volunteer opportunities available through the GreenTeen! program.
