Donald E. Barr
Don is the vice chair of the ELC board of directors, immediate past chair, and has been a board member of the ELC for the last 8 years. He was formerly the dean of the College of Health Sciences at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Don and his family have owned residential property in Vero Beach since 1972, and he has been a permanent resident of Vero Beach since 2012.

Tarik Kawi
Tarik is a financial advisor serving individuals, families, and small business owners with financial guidance and investment services for more than 25 years. With a bachelor's degree in International Environmental Studies from Cook College at Rutgers University, Tarik later went on to attend Duke University’s Fuqua Business School graduating Global Executive MBA.
Originally from Buffalo, NY, Tarik and his wife, Tricia, have been homeowners along the beautiful Indian River Lagoon for more than five years. They have two adult children.
Tricia, a lifetime educator, is President Elect of the Rotary Club of Vero Beach, and a proud member of Impact 100 Indian River. Tarik leads the Membership Committee of the Sunrise Rotary Vero Beach. Tarik is excited to contribute as part of the ELC team to carry on the legacy of both his grandmother and her sister who were ELC volunteers when ELC was very new.
