Why Native?

Restoring native plant habitat is vital to preserving biodiversity.  By creating a native plant garden, each patch of habitat becomes part of a collective to nurture and sustain the living landscape for birds and other wildlife.

They provide shelter and food for wildlife & pollinators.

Native plants help you use less fertilizers & pesticides.

Using less chemicals leads to a healthier IRL and a healthier YOU!

Pick A Plant!

Want to purchase a native plant for your house or as a gift?  Pick a plant and bring it to the ELC Entry Pavilion to purchase it.  If you need additional information on which plant works best take a stroll through our native plant garden or just ask!
