Become a volunteer at the ELC! Do what you love, while making a difference in our community. You'll meet a social circle of volunteers and enjoy volunteer appreciation events! Our volunteer coordinator, Nancy Puglio will make sure that you get to do what you love and have fun in the process! 

Our treasured volunteers are the key to running and growing our programs, keeping our campus vibrant and being a welcoming presence to our many visitors on our campus. Join over 260 volunteers who have made the Environmental Learning Center the place for environmental education and wellness through nature.​

Volunteering for High School Students

Our GreenTeen! program offers the opportunity for high school students to build your knowledge on the environment, learn how to teach others about the amazing Indian River Lagoon ecosystem, and form lasting friendships with other teens.
