Lagoon Island Adventure
Summer Camps

Canoe excursions, boat trips, STEAM activities, scavenger hunts, island exploration, seine netting, and more!

All Camps are 5 days a week from 8:30 to 3:00 pm

*3:00 to 5:00 pm aftercare offered only on select weeks

Homes and Habitats

An exploration of ecosystems, habitats and how animals and plants uniquely adapt in order to thrive.  Campers will learn about food webs and the natural animal shelters that create habitats and the fascinating builders who create them.

Sea to Shore

Florida is defined by how the land connects to the water. From the Sebastian River to the Indian River Lagoon to the Atlantic Ocean, we will learn how water is essential to life by experiencing the waterways in our very own backyard.

Wildlife Wonders

Explore some of the over 1,000 species of animals that call the Indian River Lagoon home.  Campers will investigate some of the key species that make the Lagoon habitat unique, and a few of the invasive species threatening our environment.

Pricing

  • $290 per week for Young Naturalist and Junior Naturalist Camps

  • $325 per week for Senior Naturalist Camps

  • After care $100 offered on select days only

  • Late fees - $10 every 15 minutes with a 15 minute grace period

  • Scholarships are available. Please visit the Maggy Bowman Scholarship page for more information. 

  • Any changes made after registration will be subject to a $25 administration fee.

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations within the two week window prior to your camp start date. 

  • Any cancellation or rebooking requests must be submitted to info@discoverelc.org.
