TLC FOR ELC

Campus Project Updates November 2022

The interior campus ramp replacement project is completed, and the ELC is once again able to accommodate wheelchairs and strollers.  We invite you to help us "fill in the planks" with a donation for an engraved plank. We have plenty of space available and are grateful to the Ward Family Fund, Tarik and Tricia Kawi, John Lowenberg, and many others for their investment in this important project.

The 365-foot-long dock across from the ELC entrance is a landmark you can see from Live Oak Drive and from the Wabasso Bridge.  For 35 years this dock has been a community location for fishing and it also provides safe access to the ELC Pontoon Boat.

The structure is showing its age and it is time to replace it.  If ELC can raise the necessary funds, dock construction can begin in the Spring of 2023. Consider a donation for this project in any amount that would be in alignment with your ability and desire to help.
