Cruise The Lagoon

Sit back and relax as you glide over sea grass beds and search for wildlife on the Indian River Lagoon.  Our naturalist guide provides the perfect amount of educational commentary for you to learn more about this unique environment.

 

During this time we ask you to bring your own binoculars

as we will not be providing them on the trip.

Seasonal Tour

Take a cruise up the Saint Sebastian River to spot the gentle giants of the sea, the manatee.  These large slow moving marine mammals seek shelter from the cold waters of the ocean in the rivers around the Indian River Lagoon. 

 

**This trip departs from Dale Wimbrow Park Boat Ramp in Sebastian, Fl.  This is the ONLY trip to depart from Dale Wimbrow Park, all other ELC pontoon trips depart from the ELC.

Tour Details:

  • This tour departs from the Dale Wimbrow Park Boat Ramp, 11805 Roseland Road, Sebastian, FL 32958  

  • These are group tours and need a minimum of 6 guests for the tour to launch.

  • Due to social distancing, we will be limiting the number of guests to 8 people per tour.

  • Tours are subject to cancellation for weather or demand.

  • All children under the age of thirteen are required to wear a Type I life jacket for the duration of the water tour. The ELC will supply life jackets, or if you prefer you are welcome to bring your own.

  • Binoculars are suggested.

Survivor Spoil Island Splash

APRIL - OCTOBER

Ready for a challenge? Put your skills to the test as we explore how to survive on a deserted island! Hands-on activities and challenges, including how to: find food, build a shelter, desalinate water, build a fire, and find your way around! Great option for families or even a group of friends.

Pelican Island Tours

Our classic pontoon tour takes you by Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge and mangrove islands where birds, manatees, and dolphins gather.

Sunset Pontoon Tours

A perfect way to end the day! As the sunsets, board our pontoon boat to sit back, relax and take in the beauty around you on our Twilight Pontoon Tours. Cruise on the Indian River Lagoon and enjoy the incredible Florida twilight sky while watching the evening wildlife.

Spoil Island Splash Tours

APRIL - OCTOBER

Explore a spoil island in the middle of the Indian River Lagoon!  This trip takes you on a scenic ride out to an island where we stop for exploration and time for swimming.

What you need to know:

WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY

To arrange the handicap access ramp call Guest Services at 772-589-5050 ext 101.

 

Please arrange 48 hours in advance of your departure date.  Plan to arrive 45 minutes prior to the scheduled start time for boarding the passenger via the ramp.

  • Advance reservations required.

  • If you are interested in a different day, we might be able to accommodate. Please call Guest Services at (772) 589-5050 ext. 101

  • Boat accommodates a maximum of 12 guests, with a minimum of 4 passengers required.  **During COVID-19 safety protocols only 8 passengers will be accommodated each trip.**

  • Tours are subject to cancellation for weather or demand.

  • You may bring your own food or beverage. We strongly encourage sustainable packaging.

  • All children under the age of thirteen are required to wear a Type I life jacket for the duration of the water tour. The ELC will supply life jackets, or if you prefer you are welcome to bring your own.

  • The minimum recommended age is six, as this is a two hour boat trip with no restroom. ELC has just one infant (up to 30 lbs) life vest. Infant life vests must be USCG approved commercial type 1 life vest.

To make your trip more comfortable: Bring a hat, sunscreen and bug spray.  Bring your own binoculars if you wish. Windbreakers and long pants are suggested for cool or windy days. Blankets are provided on cooler days as well.

A minimum of 24 hours cancellation notice is required to receive a refund. If less than 24 hours notice is given, we will try to reschedule for another trip, though this cannot be guaranteed. A failure to meet the minimum of 8 passengers on the pontoon boat may lead to cancellation.
