Endless volunteer opportunities

  • Fundraising

  • Events and info tables

  • Landscape and plant nursery help

  • Committee and Board Members

We are geared up for our holiday nights extravaganza WinterGreen Night Lights for 6 nights in Dec (7-9 & 14-16). Come support us and get your holiday season off to a festive start! Our pontoon dock is almost complete and we will let you know soon when we will have the ribbon-cutting. We hope that you can find a way to support our unique 64 acre nature center financially. We have an over $1.5 million annual budget and we bring in about half a million through our earned revenue producers such as field trips, programs, camps, memberships, eco-tours, and our gift shop sales. The other million we have to raise, and we receive no government funding.

Thank you to all of our staff, members, volunteers, board of directors, donors, sponsors, and participants, who make it all possible! We have doubled our number of annual visitors since I came on board less than five years ago. We continue to grow to provide quality experiences for our guests. If you are an amiable, hard working, flexible, and eco-conscious individual interested in joining our ELC team as a volunteer or part-time or full-time staff, we have needs in the areas of:

1) database manager/philanthropy support

2) outdoor education

3) sponsor and venue rentals development

4) onsite IT/systems software management

5) guest services/gift shop manager

6) facilities maintenance (landscape and manual labor)

7) part-time boat Captain with a minimum 25 ton license.

All positions require strong tech and communication skills. Reach out to me to discuss the options. It’s an awesome bunch to work with, for an important mission!

It’s been a wonderful 2023. We’ve accomplished so much, yet so much left to do! Please connect with me to see how you can be a part of our efforts to promote a healthy, natural world and quality of life for all.
